I Have Been to the Mountaintop

April 3, 1968. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his last speech. The next day, he was martyred. Today, I am reaping the rewards of not only his vision, but his direct action to make that vision happen—a vision for which he gave his life. And the vision is not complete. His vision was equality for ALL. The truth is, ALL are not equal yet—race, ethnicity, faith tradition, gender and gender identity, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender. There’s yet some fights to fight. The struggle continues.
